Up and coming artist Deedee Von Licht to cause stir with controversial painting

Artist and designer Deedee Von Licht launches her website with tshirt print featuring upside down cross titled 'Among Us'.
An artist called Deedee Von Licht has launched her website www.deedeevonlicht.com. The artist could suffer some backlash from both the LGBT community and the church with one of her powerful works called 'Among Us'.
The painting and t-shirt print features an image of an inverted rainbow cross. The print is a striking piece. Although the 29-year-old artist insists that the painting is about "being yourself without the shackles of religion". However, there are some people who would be unable to see the true meaning behind the thought-provoking piece.
The 28-year-old artist from Pollok Glasgow is hitting the floor running with her venture. Within one hour of the launch of her Facebook page and website, she had 25 likes.
Deedee Von Lichts website features a number of interesting works from this young artist. Despite only being painting and sketching for a short while the artists work show powerful images that are not only thought provoking but powerful to the extent one of her paintings where dismissed from a nonprofit organizations Facebook page for being "too powerful".
One of Deedee Von Lichts critics claim has stated that deedees' work is "art in its truest form" another said, "this really invokes strong emotion".
This up and coming artist is one to watch.
