Coral Gables, Florida, October 27, 2026. Vista Drone Cleaning has completed its first documented hotel project, cleaning the full exterior of the Courtyard by Marriott Miami Coral Gables while the hotel stayed open to guests. Starting on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, the crew soft-washed the facade on every elevation of the six-story, L-shaped hotel at 2051 South Le Jeune Road and cleaned every exterior window in three days on site, two days ahead of the five-day estimate in its service agreement.

The project matters to hotel owners and managers in South Florida, who cannot easily close a wing for a boom lift or a scaffold. Cleaning from the air, one elevation at a time, left rooms on the other sides of the building undisturbed.

The job covered roughly 60,000 square feet of facade and glass and came to about $0.13 per square foot. Guests and hotel staff told the crew it was the best cleaning ever.

A tethered cleaning drone, flown by FAA Part 107 certified pilots, washed the upper facade and glass from the air while water-fed poles covered the lower levels, so no boom lift, scaffold or rope crew was needed.

The building's decorative block screens are open patterns, and the drone's low-pressure spray reached into each opening from the air. Cleaning solution was applied at low pressure, given time to work, and rinsed from the roofline down, and every exterior window was finished with deionized water so it dries spot-free.

"A hotel is selling rooms every night, so the cleaning has to work around the guests," said Eliot De Paz, owner of Vista Drone Cleaning. "Cleaning one side of the building at a time from the air kept the rest of the hotel undisturbed."

Vista Drone Cleaning serves Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties and prices commercial facade and window cleaning at $0.12 to $0.25 per square foot, with a fixed price set after a free site survey.
