TERMS

Use Pressbox for real news, not manufactured noise.

Pressbox is operated by Yamu Ltd, company number 11870394, of 61c Rivington St, London, EC2A 3QQ. These terms apply to your use of Pressbox. Contact support@pressbox.com for account, publication or purchase help.

Free publication and optional purchases

Free publication does not require a paid subscription. One-off upgrades apply to one release; monthly plans provide the stated capacity for one workspace. Linked client workspaces have separate allowances. Prices and the billing currency are shown before payment.

Before you pay, review the package, total fee and availability. External distribution requires an agreed destination and content plan; AI visibility reporting requires agreed questions, engine surfaces and reporting dates. Payment does not itself authorise an external send. A checkout return page is not proof of payment or delivery.

Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled through your workspace billing controls. Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues for the paid period unless otherwise stated. For a one-off order, contact support before delivery begins if you need to cancel or change the scope. If an agreed paid service cannot be supplied, contact support to arrange a remedy or refund for the undelivered service. Statutory rights are unaffected.

Release standards and submitter responsibility

Submissions must be materially truthful, attributable to the stated issuer and suitable for a press-release directory. Pressbox uses automated quality and abuse controls rather than routine staff pre-publication review. Before publication, the submitter must confirm that they are authorised to publish the release and accept responsibility for its factual accuracy, claims, quotations, intellectual-property and media rights, legality, contact details and any distribution permissions. Spam, deceptive promotion, impersonation, unlawful material, rights infringement and repeated low-value submissions may be blocked, suspended or removed.

Distribution

Customers must have a legitimate basis for contacting recipients. Pressbox suppression and unsubscribe controls must not be circumvented. A distribution destination is automated only where an approved API, feed or indexing mechanism permits it; Pressbox does not promise placement, search ranking or editorial coverage.

AI assistance

AI output is a draft or recommendation. The user remains responsible for verifying facts, claims, quotations, recipient selection and publication/sending decisions.

You may choose to access Pressbox through a supported external AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. A connected assistant acts as an interface to your authorised Pressbox account; it does not bypass workspace roles, entitlements, the automated publication gate, suppression, lawful-basis or delivery controls. Pressbox may require explicit confirmation before creating an account, starting a purchase, submitting a release or sending a distribution campaign. You are responsible for reviewing the proposed action before authorising it.

Public content

Published releases are public and may be indexed, syndicated or referenced elsewhere. Pressbox may preserve redirects and limited records where needed to maintain archive integrity, comply with law or prevent abuse.
