X Downloader launches a free tool for saving public X videos as MP4, MP3 and screenshots

X Downloader (https://xdownloader.site/) is a free web tool for saving videos from public X (Twitter) posts. A user pastes the link to a public post, chooses any MP4 quality the post exposes, and downloads the file.

The tool goes beyond single downloads. It can convert a post's video to MP3 locally in the browser, run bounded batch downloads for people who need several posts at once, and capture clean screenshots of public posts. A Chrome extension is available for saving videos directly from the timeline.

Key points:

- Works with public posts only and does not ask for an X account or password.

- MP4 in the qualities offered by the post, plus local MP3 conversion.

- Bounded batch downloads and local post screenshots.

- Free to use, with no software to install for the basic downloader.

X Downloader is built by King Z, an independent maker based in Taiwan, for creators, researchers and everyday users who want to keep a copy of public media for offline viewing or reference.
